Teaming up with local organisation ‘Health Care Poly Clinic’, Starfish Pakistan has launched a pilot scheme has been launched with four schools to provide interactive sessions for children on hygiene, nutrition, and physical fitness. These fun activities are helping to spark a genuine interest in healthy living.
In addition, the Medical Camp has offered students and teachers check-ups, free eye tests, dental examinations and training in Life-Saving and CPR. What’s more, students have been awarded Health Cards to allow them access to reduced cost medicine at local dispensaries. Already there have been some health concerns discovered with certain children, that can now be addressed and treated accordingly.
This wonderful initiative that will help break down further barriers to education for these children. To continue this vital work and extend our training to even more schools, we need your support. Your donations can help us equip more students and teachers with these life-saving skills.
