During the summer when schools are closed, the Starfish Pakistan team were hard at work planning, preparing and delivering a series of training initiatives for the hundreds of school leaders and teachers who work tirelessly to provide an education for the Christian community. This began with a 5-day retreat for school principals and project leaders, with the core purpose to empower them not only with practical strategies for school improvement, but also to foster personal leadership development and Spiritual life. Topics covered included Fundraising Strategies, Curriculum Development, School Administration and
Parent Involvement. Leaders were encouraged to align their school vision with long-term, actionable strategies that impact the lives of students and communities.
This was followed later in August by a series of smaller, targeted local training sessions for the rest of the teachers. Expert facilitators delivered a number of subject-focused sessions including Science and Maths, Urdu and Basic English. These passionate tutors went above and beyond, ensuring each concept was understood, not just via presentations, but also with real-time classroom scenarios and practical engagement. This training is part of our commitment to building stronger, more confident educators who can inspire change in their classrooms and communities.
