Back to school
The Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth to tell them: “We all, with unveiled faces, contemplate the Lord’s glory”. (2 Corinthians 3:18) We all find it hard to have to wear masks to protect each other, but thank God, this Christmas we can contemplate the glory of the birth of Christ with unveiled faces.
This is a class at the Holy Field School in Lahore. Asher, who over- sees the school, writes:
“Our teachers work according to the rules set by the Government. Children cannot wear masks all the time because it is suffocating.
Students are happy to be back in school, as they missed their classes. We conduct Bible classes every day for half an hour in the morning before other classes.
Many in the community could not afford proper food during lockdown, but thank God, Starfish helped many through the ration distribution.”
We wish all our friends and supporters a very happy Christmas and the hope of a glorious year ahead.
