Our latest newsletter, issue 64: Hear about some of our project leaders, on the front line
The Front Line
In the last two months our lives have been turned upside down by the arrival of Coronavirus and the lock-down. The future suddenly looks more uncertain than we ever expected.
Just imagine if you had no bank account, no ATM machine, no savings, and lived hand to mouth from one day to the next – and had 5 children to look after. Then suddenly you have no job, no pension, no government to help. That is what so many Christians in Pakistan have faced in the last few weeks. And many of you have magnificently gone the extra mile to help.
Our front line staff are the project leaders who have arranged food parcels or cash to help some of the neediest families in their school communities. For our June newsletter we have selected just a few, but they give an insight into the many who have been working with us over the past weeks to bring some hope and relief to the poor.
