A silly question you might think, but it’s one that some of the girls employed as teachers in poor Christian schools in Pakistan have never thought about!
In March Geraldine and Kashi took several workshops to discuss the curriculum – and of course much more.
They talked about better classroom practices and how to develop good lesson plans. They discussed the importance of setting goals, self-awareness and Bible teaching. They discussed friends and family, classroom décor, work sheets and assessments. And they had a lot of fun together, prayed and ate cake.
Teachers need to be motivated, enthused and inspired, as well as instructed and encouraged. Anser and Kashi have done a lot of that in recent weeks, with help from others.
